SERVICES
In addition to evaluating patients and treating neurological diseases, our practice also performs diagnostic tests of the nervous system, such as EMG, EEG, and MRI.

EMG/NCS
Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) are two tests that are always performed in conjunction with one another. An EMG/NCS procedure involves using electrical stimulation and needle recording electrodes to diagnose disorders such as neuropathy, myopathy, or radiculopathy (pinched nerve root).
MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic test which can show the anatomy of the brain and spine. This procedure can aid in the diagnosis of disorders such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases, and tumors of the central nervous system.
EEG
Electroencephalography (EEG) is a diagnostic study involving placing recording electrodes all over the scalp. EEG can assist in the diagnosis of epileptic seizures.
